Update : It is our pleasure to announce that Will Hutton will be joining Andrew Adonis

Andrew Adonis, leading ’Remainer’, key figure in the Brexit debate and peer in the House of Lords, is coming to Bristol as part of the campaign for a People’s Vote on the final Brexit deal.

He is formerly chair of the National Infrastructure Commisson, transport secretary and education secretrary. More info at www.andrewadonistour.org.

This event is being organised by Bristol For Europe, a cross-party and no party group campaigning for the UK to stay within the European Union. You don’t have to be a member to join our event, but it helps!

After an introduction from local campaigners, Andrew will speak followed by a Q&A session chaired by Sam Hickmott, Chair of Bristol for Europe, who said: "Lord Adonis is one of the most eloquent and passionate opponents of Brexit and we are delighted that he is coming to Bristol to help us keep up the pressure for a People’s Vote.”

Andrew will be joined at the event by Will Hutton, his co-author of “Them and Us: Changing Britain – Why We Need a Fair Society” and long time passionate advocate of EU membership.

Will, a political economist, academic administrator, and journalist, knows Bristol well having studied sociology at Bristol University, where he is a visiting professor and which made him an honorary Doctor of Laws (LLD) in 2003. He is currently Principal of Hertford College, Oxford and Chair of the Big Innovation Centre.

Please note that there will be no refreshments available at this event.
